- How many people are in the space per day, and are clients among them?
- Is food prepared or eaten on site?
- Are there regulated areas — exam rooms, food prep, childcare, labs?
A practical frequency guide
- Daily (5x/week): medical and dental practices, schools and daycares, high-traffic client-facing offices, food service.
- 3x per week: offices of 20–60 people, professional suites with regular visitors.
- 2x per week: small offices with hybrid schedules, low visitor volume, no on-site food prep.
- 1x per week: warehouses and back-office spaces with a handful of staff.
- Project-based: post-construction, move-in/move-out, seasonal deep cleans, disinfection events.
The hybrid-office adjustment
If your team is in-office Tuesday through Thursday, buy service on those days plus one reset. Paying for Monday and Friday visits in an empty building is the easiest line item to cut without losing quality.
When to increase frequency
Add visits when restroom supplies run out between services, when trash overflows, when floors show traffic lanes within 48 hours of cleaning, or during flu season and after any facility-wide illness.
